I hope some of the 2nd, 3rd... thought folks hit you up! I appreciate you sharing your journey in and out of the rabbit hole, plus the grace for making space, which I've been trying to do (and trying not to feel guilty about). :)
I keep returning to your words "grace space" as a portal to humanity and humanizing from fight.flight.freeze to connection and belonging- To self, to body, to the here and now. Thank you for your writings, Shilpa.
This morning I had a long talk with a friend who feels deeply accountable to her vision of a long-term eco land project. It will require many hearts for this vison to be realized. At this time she isn't ready to share this level of accountablity with others, in other words to trust in grace. Opening to grace is a transformational act, a kind of letting go. Many years ago a friend passed on a beautiful silver pin that stated in bold letters "Try God." In turn I gave it to another friend who I thought would benefit from it more than I. That may have translated to "would understand it better than I."
I feel a sense of relief when I read this article. Thanks Shilpa. Your connecting thoughts about the current consequences of today’s operating US administration helps me gain better perspective. I can connect and recognize the sensations within me in relation to each of the points! It’s NEVER too late for folk to reverse out of what they thought was going to be ‘the best voting option’! Talk and work it through with open minded people. You can find the way back!
Thanks for your message, dear Grainne! I'm so glad the article resonated for you, and yes, I hope we can find ways forward that foster connection and accountability. Hope things are well on your end! <3
grace as spaciousness rings true. It’s a physical phenomenon, a hallmark, a north star. courageous grace requires big love. I’m struck by the grace and spaciousness I feel with you.
Thank you dear Cynthia! Grace and spaciousness as a physical phenomenon -- love that! And yes, how much love is at the root of all of it. Thank you for constantly cultivating that field through your many many practices!
Shilpa, you have done it again—shared such helpful healing wisdom with such grace. I love “grace space.” Your writing is such a consistent gift. Thank you 💜
